How do you take inspired action?
Inspired action comes from being not doing. Doing will lead you down the same path, while inspired action allows you to see new paths, infinite possibilities and amazing opportunities.
So how do you do this in a world that pushes you to do more?
~ Take a break from your to-do list and accept that it will never be finished.
~ Create time each day to sit in silence, even if it’s only for 5 or 10 minutes.
~ Turn down the background noise in your life and discover the silence.
~ Spend some time outside, unplugged.
~ Choose to spend time with people that believe in you, let go of the ones that don’t.
~ Catch yourself when your are making an excuse, its the first step to change.
~ Be open to new beliefs and let go of ones that no longer serve you.
~ Don’t take yourself so serious, smile more.
~ Be in Awe of all the amazing things that are around you.
~ Be in a state of gratitude for all that you have.
Many of the things above will go against beliefs that you have taken on over your life. When you choose to make a change your ego wants to convince you; “that’s the way you’ve always done things, why change, it will be too hard, you don’t have time.” When I want to shift to a new belief I create a mantra that I focus on each day till it really takes hold. For example: If you have a lot of people coming into your life with drama or ones that raise your level of stress you might focus on this each day. “I only attract peace and peaceful people into my life” Put it on your mirror or your fridge where you will see it each day. At first it may seem like nothing changes in your physical world, but as your new belief really takes hold you will see evidence.
“Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change!” ~ Dr. Wayne Dyer
Doing these things will allow inspiration to flow and from that inspiration you take inspired action!
