Wisdom is the harvest of experience. // Wisdom occurs in the space between birth and what we know currently. It is accumulated through experience, and this happens by degrees with each of us individually. Someone who seeks to gain as much information as they can from each situation will undoubtedly grow wiser than someone who passively experiences life without much interest in learning anything from their moment to moment existence. Wisdom is hard-earned and not for the faint of heart. The pursuit of wisdom requires courage ~ the courage to know ourselves and others as we truly are, irrespective of how we would like things to be. Only through this can we grow to know what is required so that we may evolve into the person of our desires. Wisdom is the child of honesty. Anyone who would delude themselves with untruths will never gain the wisdom that is the rightful inheritance of the honest and authentic. Wisdom only comes to those who embrace experience, whether it be exciting, unsavory, or anything in between. Pursue insight with worthwhile intentions and the fruitful lessons gleaned will yield an unceasing bounty. // Wisdom is the harvest of experience. //
