Andrew Holland, Executive Director of YogiNation says "Sometimes in life it takes something major to wake us up, to really inspire the change our soul longs for."

The first time I met Andy, it was like our souls had crossed paths before. Our conversation flowed freely and we connected on so many ideals. We talked of the paths we have chosen that have lead us to where we are today. How beautiful it is to meet others that have the same mission in life -To help and empower others. I look forward to all of the amazing events YogiNation has lined up for this summer and can't wait to be a part of this amazing energy Andy and his team have created. If you haven't checked out their summer schedule, head on over to www.yoginationevents.com for their full schedule. Come on out and be a part of the MAGIC.

When I asked Andy about how he got to where he is today, here is what he had to say:

"Sometimes in life it takes something major to wake us up, to really inspire the change our soul longs for. A wake up call to get us back on the road, a road leading us to better understand the purpose we came here for. For me that shift came when I landed myself in the hospital for 8 days back in 2006. I was admitted on a Friday barely being able to walk and 8 days later walking out with the use of a cane. Without that major event, I would not of gotten off the treadmill that I created and been able to create the amazing life that I NOW live. What I have learned has completely changed my life, and although it is an on going process as my journey continues and would fill the pages of an entire book. These following four things enabled the greatest change.

Taking responsibility for what was in my life. The moment I started to take responsibility in my life for both the good and the bad was a very critical moment. This moment was very empowering, because it meant I then had the power to create real change in my life.

All the answers are within so I learned to trust in my inner guidance. I first had to turn down some of the outside background noise in my life and eventually learn to quiet my mind so that I was able to hear this inner guidance that we all have access to.

Thoughts become things. When I realized that my thoughts became things in my life. I started to listen to my thoughts, look at my beliefs and the lifetime of conditioning from parents, school, and the society in which we live. I often ask myself, “why do I believe this and is it really true for me?” If it is, I continue this belief and if not I let it go.

True change in this world comes from within. My good friend Emily Miller once told me as she pointed towards herself, “if you fix the stuff in here, it fixes the stuff out there” as she then pointed away. So to create real change in my life I started with myself. What followed was some amazing changes in both my circumstances and the people around me.

Since I made this shift back in 2006 I have come to realize that my purpose in life is to help others empower themselves. One of the ways I am going about this is through co-founding YogiNation. We are creating a place where people that believe, "all things are possible", can come together in commUNITY. To open doors to a place of possibilities where people can turn their DREAMS into reality. To enable people to empower themselves, as they promote the positives in our world.

I believe that we all have infinite possibilities available to us at all times! It is this belief that enables me to know that…….

...I AM THE ARCHITECT OF MY DESTINY."
